In 2021, the power consumption of China's high-tech and equipment manufacturing industry increased by 15.7% year-on-year, and the growth rate maintained a leading position in the manufacturing industry. Among them, the power consumption of some emerging manufacturing industries increased rapidly. The power consumption of medical instrument and equipment manufacturing, wind energy prime mover equipment manufacturing, new energy vehicle manufacturing, photovoltaic equipment and components manufacturing increased by 24.9%, 25.4%, 46.8% and 91.3% respectively year-on-year!

 

 

  By the end of 2021, the installed capacity of non fossil energy power generation had reached 1.12 billion kw and coal power 1.11 billion kw, accounting for 47% and 46.7% of the total installed capacity respectively. The installed capacity of non fossil energy power generation exceeded that of coal power for the first time.
